Cabinet NG 5.0 sets new efficiency and profitability standard with Enhanced Workflow and Document management capabilities

October 19, 2004 - Athens, Alabama - Cabinet NG, Inc., the industry's only automated file management solution that starts filing as soon as you start typing, today announced the general availability of its latest release, Cabinet NG 5.0. Marking the most significant release in the company's twelve-year history, Cabinet NG 5.0 brings document management to a level many considered impossible for an off-the-shelf solution. 

The most powerful addition to Cabinet NG 5.0 is the new document workflow module, included at no additional charge. This module allows users to launch documents into a rules-based or manually defined approval/review processes from within Cabinet NG. Users can edit, approve, reject, hold and add notes to documents and are allowed to apply pre-defined routing rules that automatically send documents through their specific processes. Users are notified visually and/or audibly whenever documents are delivered into their workflow-inbox.

Preview mode supports close to 300 unique document types and can save an organization thousands of dollars in application license fees.
