Cabinet NG®, Inc. Reunites Wirespeed Executives

Leading software company expands and positions for growth with its Shared Access Filing Environment (CNG-SAFE) solution

January 6, 2003 - Athens, Alabama - Cabinet NG, Inc. announces the appointment of two new executives, Andrew Bailey as President and James True as VP of Marketing. Both served in executive roles at WireSpeed Communications Inc., where they were instrumental in its rapid growth and its eventual acquisition by Red Hat, Inc in July 2000.

"Once we saw our current customer base reached 400 corporate accounts, we were ready to start recruiting a strong management team that understands what it takes for a software company to reach the next level," said Abe Niedzwiecki, Cabinet NG VP of Technology. "Both Andrew and Jim bring tremendous value to the company and are already implementing a focused growth strategy."

Cabinet NG's software reaches a broad audience, and has been particularly successful in the medical, financial/insurance and government sectors. These sectors tend to be document-intensive with stringent security and workflow requirements. Recent customers in these sectors include The Bone and Joint Clinic, Merrill Lynch, Farmers Insurance agents and the State of Maryland.

"My first impression was the Cabinet NG product capabilities were impressive and could truly help solve customer problems," said Mr. Bailey. "After every customer I spoke to echoed the same sentiment, I knew this was a great opportunity. So I called Jim and asked him to take a look at the company, and within a couple of weeks Jim and I were on board."

"Andrew and Jim are one of the best teams in the emerging business arena I have encountered in the past several years. Individually they are strong, but together their skill sets complement each other exceptionally well. They have proven themselves as leaders who can take a local software company and put it on the map," said Hall Bryant III, partner at the law firm of Bradley Arant Rose & White LLP.

Cabinet NG believes its timing to grow the company couldn't be better. According to IDC and Goldman Sachs research estimates, the market for Cabinet NG's products will grow from 2.2 billion in 2002 to around 3.5 billion in 2005. Cabinet NG has a tremendous opportunity because over 75% of financial and healthcare companies are still in search of a digital document filing solution. Cabinet NG is expanding its sales and marketing efforts to capture new market share for its simple and intuitive software that helps companies manage large volumes of documents, optimize workflow, enforce privacy and improve efficiency. All of which are critical concerns in the industry.

"I'm very excited about joining the Cabinet NG team and working with Andrew," said Mr. True. "Today's economy demands a solution that brings a strong return on investment (ROI). With Cabinet NG's Shared Access Filing Environment (CNG-SAFE), customers can quickly bring more revenue to the bottom line without disrupting the way they already do business."
